Who we are

TapSite provides website previews and hosting for independent trades (currently soft-launching with plumbers in Greater Manchester). Contact: hello@tapsite.uk · tapsite.uk.

What we collect

• Details you send us (name, email, phone, business name) when you enquire or request a preview.
• Payment and billing details processed by Stripe when you publish hosting (£35/month) or buy a logo (£50). We do not store full card numbers.
• Basic technical data (e.g. browser type) if needed to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it

• To build and show your free sample preview.
• To set up hosting, SSL, contact forms and domain connection after you publish.
• To reply to questions and provide support.

Sample previews

Until you publish and complete onboarding, sample sites are not affiliated with your business. They carry a permanent “SAMPLE PREVIEW — NOT AFFILIATED” banner. We do not present a sample as your live site.

Sharing

We use trusted processors such as Stripe for payments and standard hosting/email tools to deliver the service. We do not sell your data.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, corrections, or deletion where applicable. Email hello@tapsite.uk.

Retention

We keep enquiry and account records only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations (for example tax records for paid hosting).
